About Shira
At the age of 40, I felt like I was getting a “B” in everything — as a leader at work, as a community volunteer, and at home as a wife and mother. I was ready to check out and take a step back.
Then, my boss introduced me to a coach, and everything changed.
I went on to work at Staples for 17 years, ultimately in my role as CEO. Those years were full of growth and development, both for myself and the company. As Staples underwent a robust transformation, I went through my own. Through coaching and development, I learned how to identify personal and professional challenges and work through them, so both my family and I could lead more fulfilling lives.
Over the years, I’ve sat on over a dozen boards–including many leadership roles. Mentored people at every level. Helped strengthen both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. I’ve seen hundreds of leaders in hundreds of different situations through all the ups and downs. All while taking the important roles of mother, wife, and community leader very seriously.
This collection of real-world experiences has brought me to this moment. Now, as a trained executive coach, I’m using it all to help purpose-driven leaders make the kind of impact they’ve always dreamed of.
If you’re ready to make a positive impact and lead a more fulfilling life, we should chat.
Onward!
